We are pleased to announce that CANCERLESS has been awarded in the category of Integrated Health Promotion and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programmes of the II Community Health Award. This recognition highlights the significant impact of our project in improving access to health services for homeless people.
CANCERLESS focuses on developing care processes that facilitate access to cancer screening, addressing one of the most critical needs of vulnerable communities. Through collaboration with various organisations and healthcare professionals, we aim to reduce the barriers these populations face in accessing healthcare and promote a culture of prevention.
The III Community Health Day, held on 29 November in the amphitheatre of the Caixa Forum Foundation in Madrid (Spain), where the winners were announced. This event, under the slogan ‘Health unites us. The Community lifts us up’, was an excellent opportunity to share experiences and strengthen the support network in the field of community health.
We are proud to be part of this initiative and to contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and accessible health system for all. We thank everyone who has supported CANCERLESS on this journey and look forward to continuing to work together to make a real difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
Stay tuned for more information about the event and CANCERLESS’ impact on the community.
